Crowne Plaza Fort Myers FL Hotel, Fort Myers Accommodation

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Fort Myers Crowne Plaza for three nights. I had a lot of business to take care of and the Fort Myers Hotel is centrally located in the heart of Lee County. It took me less than 10 minutes to Downtown Fort Myers, 5 Minutes to Cape Coral and hardly anything to the beach. Crowne Plaza is located in the Bell Tower Shops, so I just walked over to all of the restaurants and stores, it was great. While staying there I got a great room with a wonderful view of the pool, it was where I spent my afternoons after working out in their fitness room. The accommodation provides wireless Internet and a business room with large screen computers and a comfortable work environment. Very helpful when having to respond to tons of emails! Overall, I would recommend the Crowne Plaza to everyone who is looking for a place in town to stay! I was able to complete a great deal of work and be totally comfortable while doing so!

Fort Myers Lakes Park. We went to Fort Myers Lakes Park, the other day to enjoy a beautiful day outside. It is such a awesome sanctuary right in the middle of Fort Myers. Update on the Deep Horizon Florida Oil Spill. What is happening to Fort Myers because of the BP Oil Spill? Our Beaches are still Beautiful and our water is Clean! Great time for a Vacation!

Yesterday, we talked to Lee County Florida District 4 Commissioner, Tammy Hall. We were extremely happy to hear what she had to say! Although the Deep Horizon Florida Oil Spill has harmed a lot of things, Sanibel and Captiva are still SAFE! We learned that our water is clean and our beaches are still beautiful and this is actually a great time to visit Fort Myers. Check out our backyard and enjoy a wonderful SWFL Vacation!

Tamara Pigott, Executive Director of the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau also talked to us on camera to express what a great time it is to take a vacation in our unspoiled waters of SWFL. Shadowfax Sails To Panama, Scott McPhee, Sailor of the Seas

Scott McPhee put this video together of his sail from ‘Tween Waters on Captiva to the Panama Canal before heading out into the Pacific. Many people may remember the monthly articles Scott wrote for  the Sanibel papers as he sailed.  After one circumnavigation and then sailing again to the South Pacific, Scott is back in the area helping people with websites and graphics (as well as helping with this site). He can be found at www.RealAgentAssist.com. Scott said he will be putting more videos of the trip together, but until then you can go to his website and click on the picture of the sailboat on his homepage to see and read more about the trip! Scott also said he really misses the cruising life, and if you need a boat delivered to Bora Bora – he’s your guy!
