Builders Care unveils home makeover for Elderly Dunbar woman, Lee Building Industry Association

• What: Builders Care, with the help of several local Lee Building Industry Association (BIA) members and volunteers, will unveil renovations at the home of the Strong family. The project includes the complete remodel of the bathrooms, kitchen, flooring, new air conditioning system and more.
• When: After two weeks of renovations, the project will wrap on Wednesday, Jan. 19 at 4 p.m. with the unveiling of the home improvements. This will be the first time that the family has seen the completed renovations.
• Where: The home of Eva Mae Strong, 2370 Barden Street in Fort Myers.
• Directions: From I-75: Take Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. west to Barden Street.  Take a Left on Barden Street.  End at 2370 (blue house last on the right before Edison Ave.) From US 41: Take Colonial Blvd. east to Veronica Shoemaker Blvd. and take a left.  Head north to Edison Avenue and take a right.  Take a left on Barden Street.  End at 2370 (blue house first on the left; corner of Edison Ave.)

Update on the Deep Horizon Florida Oil Spill. What is happening to Fort Myers because of the BP Oil Spill? Our Beaches are still Beautiful and our water is Clean! Great time for a Vacation!

Yesterday, we talked to Lee County Florida District 4 Commissioner, Tammy Hall. We were extremely happy to hear what she had to say! Although the Deep Horizon Florida Oil Spill has harmed a lot of things, Sanibel and Captiva are still SAFE! We learned that our water is clean and our beaches are still beautiful and this is actually a great time to visit Fort Myers. Check out our backyard and enjoy a wonderful SWFL Vacation!
