Outdoors on Fort Myers Beach, Fort Myers FLIt was to nice to spend the day inside the office, so I used the afternoon to take some outdoor photos. The first place that came to mind was Fort Myers Beach, it was sunny, warm and people were all around. Fort Myers Beach PhotosThe other day we got a couple great shots of some Fort Myers children playing at the beach. Once a couple of seagulls came around, the kids kept getting more to fallow! After a couple of minutes, the beach started to look like a scene from the old Film “Birds” because they were everywhere. Though the birds were very friendly we recommend not to feed any wild animal. But it sure was fun taking the photos of the situation. |

Sanibel beach was the place to witness the Last Year Annual Sanibel National Polar Bear Club Swim. Hundreds of people, or as they call them mice, came out to watch, while 229 bears had the courage to take the plunge (by the way, it was 79 degrees today). At least they didnt have to cut through any ice to enjoy a dip in our tropical waters. But this year at Tarpon Bay Beach, we are going to make it bigger! Get ready to drive over to Sanibel, Jan. 1st for the 10th Annual Sanibel National Polar Bear Club Plunge! The event takes place at noon but be sure to get there early!!! Shadowfax Sails To Panama, Scott McPhee, Sailor of the SeasScott McPhee put this video together of his sail from ‘Tween Waters on Captiva to the Panama Canal before heading out into the Pacific. Many people may remember the monthly articles Scott wrote for the Sanibel papers as he sailed. After one circumnavigation and then sailing again to the South Pacific, Scott is back in the area helping people with websites and graphics (as well as helping with this site). He can be found at www.RealAgentAssist.com. Scott said he will be putting more videos of the trip together, but until then you can go to his website and click on the picture of the sailboat on his homepage to see and read more about the trip! Scott also said he really misses the cruising life, and if you need a boat delivered to Bora Bora - he’s your guy! |

We stayed at the Pink Shell Beach Resort and enjoyed the beach. We ate at our favorite place the Cottage and watch the beautiful sunset. Can you refer us to any animal friendly accomodations?
