Fort Myers Kickball, Summer Season Registration

FL Tarpon Division – Summer Season Registration Is Open

The summer season will start May 20th.

Fl Tarpon Kickball Summer League Registration is now OPEN! Register at the Fl Tarpon site http://www.kickball.com/fltarpon

Deadline to register is April 27th 2010! $10 fee will be added if you register after that date.

Season starts May 20th 2010 and we are back at the Wa-Ke-Hatchee Park. Our new division bar will be Stevie Tomato’s! Pre-Season Party will be Saturday, May 15th at 8pm at Stevie’s!

Fort Myers Spring Training, Boston Red Sox

Captain Mick Gurley was the at the Boston Red Sox in Fort Myers for a spring training game the other day while they played the Tampa Bay Rays. Mick was able to snap a couple great photos from his wonderful seats and sent them our way! Thank you Mick! We are very excited to hear that the Red Sox plan on staying here in our hometown of Fort Myers and look forward to the building of the new stadium.

Crowne Plaza Fort Myers, Red Sox, Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County

Every year the Boston Red Sox team up with Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County to put on a spectacular event. For the 5th year in a row, the event was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Fort Myers, FL. The evening was a huge success, people from all over Lee county showed up to Crowne Plaza for autographs, pictures and the company of several Red Sox players and staff. Islands Night, Miracle Fort Myers Baseball Game. Yesterday, the FortMyersdaily.com went to the Lee Sports Complex for the Islands Night, Miracle Fort Myers Baseball Game. The Islands Night, Miracle Fort Myers Baseball Game was great, although the weather was less than ideal, everyone still had a good time. The Islands Night, Miracle Fort Myers Baseball Game started off with a parade of Sanibel and Captiva businesses, clubs and organizations ( all of the parade is in the photo gallery). Then after a rain delay the Islands Night, Miracle Fort Myers Baseball Game got started. Bailey’s General Store did a great job with the event. Fort Myers Minnesota Twins Spring Training games are a great way to spend an afternoon. Aside from the great beaches, restaurants, and shopping Fort Myers is the home for the Minnesota Twins AND Boston Red Sox spring training. What better way to spend your weekend then with a bunch of friends at an all american baseball game! This past Saturday, we at the fortmyersdaily.com got the chance to check out the Twins vs. Marlins game where the Marlins won 9-5.
