Investigation of general public knowledge on red tide
My name is Amanda Podlasek and I’m a freshman at Canterbury High School in Fort Myers, Florida. This is my 3rd year competing in the Thomas Alva Edison Science Fair. Last year I came in 2nd place at the State finals with my project on filtering Red Tide Karenia brevis by using filter feeding animals (clams, tunicates and oysters). I also received a four year full scholarship to the Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers. This survey is to gather data on the public knowledge of the condition. Please help me by filling out the survey and send it back to me Amanda Podlasek, 18452 Deep Passage Lane, Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931 or Fax it to (239) 466-5676. You also can drop it off at the Island Cow on Sanibel or E-Mail it to ElkePodlasek@aol.com Thank you very much for being a part of my research this year.
