The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools is a non-profit charitable education foundation which enhances and enriches the quality of public education in Lee County for students and educators through programs, resources, and experiences made possible through corporate, individual and educational partnerships.

Dancing Classrooms Program’s goal is to build social awareness, confidence and self-esteem in children through the practice of social dance. Through standards-based, in-school residencies, we use the vocabulary of ballroom dance to cultivate the positive feelings that are inherent in every child. The maturity necessary to dance together fosters respect, teamwork, confidence and a sense of joy and accomplishment which we hope to bring to every child. Ballroom dance is the medium we use to nurture these qualities.

Rhythm In Motion is a locally owned and operated company. We offer instruction in all areas of ballroom and Latin dance, both American and International styles, and a variety of other dance specialties. Our objective is to offer expert, one-on-one and group dance instruction to dancers of all levels from beginner to advanced, ages 8 yrs to 90+.Teaching all styles of classic ballroom and Latin dance to both couples and singles in a comfortable “home away from home” atmosphere. Our areas of expertise are not simply limited to Ballroom or Latin – we also provide expert instruction in Yoga, Zumba Fitness, Belly & Tribal Dance, Ballet, and all popular club dances such as Salsa and Bachata. Regardless of your area of interest, our objective is to teach you to dance as quickly as possible so that you may enjoy the benefits right away.

We invite you to become a Sponsor of our upcoming 2010 Ballroom Dance Showcase “And The Award Goes To…. “ Presented by Rhythm in Motion and partnered with The Foundation of Lee County Public Schools, a charity benefit for Dancing Classrooms in Lee County. Rhythm In Motion of Cape Coral is hosting this evening on Sunday, March 7th at The Alliance of the Arts which will begin with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction. Then a Performance by Rhythm In Motion’s Students and Staff with special guest appearances by our local Participating Dancing Classroom Students from Edgewood Academy, Tice, J. Colin English, Franklin Park, Bonita Springs, and Spring Creek Elementary Schools.
