Fort Myers 2nd Annual Surf & Song Festival Charity Event at the Edison Restaurant and Bar. Yesterday we went to the Fort Myers Edison Restaurant and Bar for Blessings in a Backpack. The money raised at the Edison Restaurant and Bar, will help this unique program feed children grades K-5 in Title 1 public schools that qualify for the Federal Free and Reduced Meal Program and may not have any or enough food on the weekends.

The rest of the weekend will be filled with music and fun in Fort Myers to benefit the local non-profit, Blessings in a Backpack.
The money raised will help this unique program feed children grades K-5 in Title 1 public schools that qualify for the Federal Free and Reduced Meal Program and may not have any or enough food on the weekends.
Better test scores, improved reading skills, positive behavior, improved health and increased attendance have all been attributed to the success of this program. More information can be found at
Saturday July 25th Silent Auction
- 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. hosted by the Reserve

Sunday July 26th Surf and Song Charity Event
- All day outdoor/indoor event with 4 stages and 15 bands featuring the most popular local musicians such as:
o Geek Skwad
o Drunk Monkeys
o Deb and the Dynamics
o Modulation,
o The New Vinyls
o Smack Daddy
o DVS
- Headliner: Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers
- Gates open @ 11 am and the show is from 12pm-2am.
- Tickets on sale for $10 in advance at The Reserve, Harley Davidson of Ft. Myers, Westcoast Watersports and the Edison. They are $15 at the door.
